C.I.R.T.A.A. Srl, the International Research Center for Asbestos Treatment and Applications, of which Gis International is a partner, was awarded during the Ecomondo fair for ecological transition as the best sustainable development project of 2023.
During this event, C.I.R.T.A.A. Srl received a significant recognition, being ranked among the top 10 companies in the Circular Economy sector, in collaboration with the Circular Economy Network (CEN).
The award was granted to C.I.R.T.A.A. Srl for an industrial plant dedicated to the inertization of asbestos-containing waste and its recycling in metallurgy for the production of special steels, alloys, and new materials.
We are proud of this achievement, as it further confirms how our values regarding sustainable development are becoming increasingly tangible and visible.
