In compliance with regulatory requirements, GIS International has initiated the process to obtain the Credit License, a document issued by the National Labor Inspectorate in accordance with Article 27 of Legislative Decree no. 81/2008.
Starting October 1, 2024, it will be mandatory for companies and self-employed workers operating on-site in construction areas to hold this license.
Until October 31, 2024, it will still be possible to work on-site by sending a self-certification via certified email (PEC) to confirm that a request has been made for the license, even if it has not yet been received.
However, from November 1, 2024, self-certification will no longer be sufficient for working on-site, making possession of the Credit License, issued through the National Labor Inspectorate portal, a mandatory requirement.
The main criteria met to obtain the Credit License include:

  • Registration with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts, and Agriculture (CCIAA).
  • Compliance with the training obligations set out in Legislative Decree 81/08 for employers, managers, supervisors, self-employed workers, and employees.
  • Valid Certificate of Social Security Compliance (DURC).
  • Risk Assessment Document, as required by applicable regulations.
  • Certification of tax compliance, pursuant to Article 17-bis of Legislative Decree 241/1997.
  • Designation of the Health and Safety Officer, where applicable.

The Credit License represents a certification of reliability for companies that demonstrate consistent compliance with current regulations and a proactive commitment to promoting safe and regulated working conditions.
GIS International remains dedicated to maintaining and constantly improving its standards, ensuring that all activities align with the strictest regulations. GIS is also prepared to assist companies in fulfilling the Credit License requirements, both in terms of documentation and in appointing an RSPP and managing the Health and Safety Service.
