SafeWork® Days – Going Beyond is the event GIS International dedicates to its clients, leads and partners to share the experience of using GIS software and explore its fields of application, development and innovation.
Two days to discover the full potential of the solutions developed by GIS International, starting with SafeWork®, the software for the digital management of Permits to Work, and to exchange views with companies, HSE professionals and technology partners.

The venue: Grand Hotel Villa Politi
The second edition of SafeWork® Days takes place in one of Syracuse’s most iconic venues. Founded in 1862 by Maria Teresa Laudien and Salvatore Politi, the Grand Hotel Villa Politi has been the city’s historic hotel for more than 150 years.
It stands on the Latomie dei Cappuccini, ancient stone quarries with over 2,500 years of history, in the Tyche district. Its distinguished guests include Winston Churchill, who stayed there with his wife Clementine.
A setting that combines history, hospitality and spaces for professional meetings, for two days of work and dialogue in an exceptional context.

Looking back: SafeWork® Days 2025
The first edition of SafeWork® Days took place on 23 and 24 May 2025 at Mangia’s Brucoli – Autograph Collection Hotel, bringing together professionals and representatives of leading industrial companies such as Sonatrach RI, ISAB GOI Energy, Sasol Italy, Sarpom API IP, RAM Milazzo, Merck Serono, STMicroelectronics and Enel Produzione.
Two days dedicated to the digitalisation of Permits to Work, the integration of IoT and artificial intelligence, ATEX devices and the geolocation of personnel in industrial plants, with two round tables and the presentation of SafeWork® 7.
