GIS International is proud to announce its status as one of the first seven Italian companies to successfully complete the audit for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification by the Bureau Veritas Group, pertaining to its Information Security Management System.

The updated title (Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Protection — Information Security Management Systems — Requirements) reflects an expanded scope that incorporates contemporary issues such as privacy and cybersecurity, enhancing alignment with GDPR requirements.

The new ISO/IEC 27001 introduces numerous revisions compared to its predecessor, with particular emphasis on security controls. The IT department at GIS International has dedicated significant effort to implementing these controls within the company network and in the applications developed, demonstrating a strong commitment to information security.

Confidentiality, Integrity, and Accessibility are the foundational principles of GIS International’s data management system.
